What does this product do?
A stretched canvas is a ready-made painting canvas that is already stretched over a wooden frame. You need this when you want to paint without first having to stretch or prepare a canvas yourself. It saves time and means you can start your artwork straight away.

Why choose this 80×80 cm size?
The square 80×80 cm format gives you a generous working surface for large-scale paintings. This size is ideal for portraits, landscapes or abstract works where you need enough space to work out details. The square format gives you creative freedom in composition.

What do the 38 mm depth and 4-fold primed surface mean?
The 38 mm depth ensures a sturdy frame that will not sag while you paint. The 100% cotton canvas, weighing 380 g/m², provides a durable surface. The 4-fold primer means the canvas has been prepared four times, so paint adheres optimally and does not soak into the canvas.

Practical benefits for different techniques
This stretched canvas is suitable for oil paint, acrylic paint and napkin technique. The staples are fixed only on the reverse, so the sides of your painting stay neat and smooth, and you can hang the work without a frame if you wish. The 100% cotton canvas gives a natural texture that works well with a range of painting techniques.
