What is this stretched canvas for?
A stretched canvas is a prepared canvas that is ready to use for painting. You don't have to stretch or prime the canvas yourself, so you can start your artwork straight away. This KREUL stretched canvas is suitable for various painting techniques.

Why choose this 30×40 cm size?
The 30×40 cm size is ideal for smaller paintings, studies or practice pieces. With a depth of 38 mm, your artwork has a professional look and can be hung directly without a frame. This compact size is practical for trying out new techniques or for artists with limited studio space.

What does four-fold priming mean?
This canvas is primed four times, which means the canvas has already been fully pre-treated for optimal paint absorption. The 380 grams per square metre of cotton provides a sturdy surface that withstands different types of paint well. The staples are only fitted on the back, so the sides of your canvas retain a neat finish.

Which painting techniques is this canvas suitable for?
This stretched canvas is specifically suitable for oil paint, acrylic paint and napkin technique. The 100% cotton surface offers the right texture for these different materials. Thanks to the professional preparation, you can start painting straight away without the paint soaking into the canvas or drying unevenly.
