What is this stretcher frame used for and when do you need it?
A stretcher frame is a ready-made stretched canvas for painters who want to get straight to work on their artwork. This Solo Goya stretcher frame, measuring 80×100 cm, gives you a professional painting surface without having to stretch a canvas yourself. The size is ideal for medium-sized paintings where you have enough room for detailed work.

Why this 100% cotton canvas is the right choice
This canvas is made of 100% cotton with a weight of 380 g/m², which ensures a sturdy and durable surface. The 4-times primed surface gives you a smooth, even base suitable for various painting techniques. Thanks to the thorough preparation, you don't need to apply any extra primer and can start painting straight away.

Professional finish with staples on the back
The stretcher frame is stapled only on the back, so the sides of the canvas remain completely smooth. This means you can also paint over the edges for a modern, gallery-worthy look. The 38 mm frame depth provides sufficient sturdiness and gives your painting a professional depth.

Suitable for oil paint, acrylic paint and decoupage technique
This canvas is universally usable for various painting techniques. You can work with both oil paint and acrylic paint, and the surface is even suitable for the serviette technique. The 4-fold ground layer ensures the paint adheres well and doesn't sink into the canvas, so your colours stay bright and vivid.
