When do you need a stretched canvas?
A stretched canvas like this KREUL wedge-frame canvas is what you use when you want to paint on a professionally prepared surface. The canvas is already stretched over a sturdy wooden frame, so you can start painting straight away without having to prepare or stretch the cloth yourself.

Why choose this 50×70 cm size?
This medium size of 50×70 cm offers enough room for detailed painting without taking up too much workspace. It is ideal for portraits, landscapes or still life paintings where you want to combine detail with an overview of the whole.

What makes this canvas suitable for different painting techniques?
The canvas is 4-fold primed with a lightly absorbent ground layer, making it suitable for oil, acrylic and gouache paints. The 100% cotton fabric weighs 400 grams per square metre, which provides a stable surface that takes paint well without letting it soak through.

Practical details for your studio
The frame has a depth of 19 x 38 mm, which offers sufficient sturdiness for this size. Thanks to the pre-treatment, you can start painting right away without any extra preparation. The canvas is part of the SOLO Goya Premium Line, so you can rely on consistent quality for your artworks.
