When do you choose this product?
What is this stretcher frame and when do you need it?
A stretcher frame is a canvas stretched over a wooden frame that you can use straight away for painting. This KREUL stretcher frame gives you a working surface for artworks, landscapes or portraits. You need this stretcher frame when you want a professional surface without having to prepare it yourself.
The benefits of 100% cotton and 400 g/m²
The canvas is made of 100% cotton weighing 400 g/m² and is primed four times. This provides a stable surface that does not sag and takes your brushstrokes well. The slightly absorbent ground means your paint does not soak in too quickly, giving you more time to mix and work out details. The cotton gives you a pleasant texture to work with.
Suitable for various painting techniques
You can use this stretcher frame for oil, acrylic and gouache paint. Thanks to the universal primer, you do not need to prepare the surface yourself and can start painting straight away. The frame has a depth of 20×45 mm, which ensures sufficient sturdiness and a professional look when you hang your work.
