What is this stretched canvas and when do you need it?
A stretched canvas is a pre-stretched cloth on a wooden frame, ready for use by painters. You need this when you want to paint with paint and are looking for a professional surface that is immediately usable. This saves you the time and effort of stretching the canvas yourself and preparing the surface.

Why choose this 600×600 mm format?
The square 600×600 mm format gives you a generous working surface for medium-sized compositions. This format is ideal for portraits, landscapes or abstract works where you want enough space to work out details, while the canvas remains manageable and easy to handle in your studio.

Advantages of the 4-fold primed surface
This stretched canvas is 4-fold primed with a lightly absorbent ground layer. This professional preparation ensures that the paint adheres well to the canvas and does not sink in too deeply. The lightly absorbent property means your paint sits neatly and is easy to work with while you paint.

Suitable for different painting techniques
You can use this stretched canvas for oil, acrylic and gouache paint. The 100% cotton canvas with a weight of 400 g/m² provides a sturdy base that withstands different types of paint. The frame has a depth of 19×38 mm, which ensures sufficient stability during painting.
