What is a Keilrahmen and when do you use it?

A Keilrahmen is a ready-to-use painting canvas that is already stretched over a wooden frame. You use this product when you want to start painting straight away without having to stretch a canvas yourself. It is ideal for artists who would rather spend their time on the creative process than on preparatory work.

Target quality with 330 g/m² cotton

The canvas is made of 100% cotton weighing 330 g/m² and is primed four times. This priming ensures that the paint does not soak into the canvas but stays nicely on the surface. Thanks to the sturdy quality of the cotton, you get a stable surface suitable for various painting techniques without the canvas sagging.

Suitable for oil and acrylic paint

The four-layer priming makes this canvas universally usable for both oil paint and acrylic paint. So you don't need to buy different canvases for each technique. The 16 mm deep stretcher bar provides sufficient stability and gives the artwork a professional look when you want to hang it without a frame.
