This quality stretcher frame is ready for your creative projects. The four-times primed cotton canvas is suitable for both oil and acrylic paint, so you can start painting straight away!
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a stretched canvas with fabric?
A stretched canvas with stretched fabric is essential for painters who want to start on their artwork straight away without having to stretch a canvas themselves. This product is ideal when you are looking for a stable, professional surface for your paintings and want to save time on preparatory work.
Why choose this 240×300 mm format?
This compact format is perfect for smaller artworks, studies and exercises. You can experiment with new techniques without wasting a lot of material. The format is also handy for portraits, landscape studies or as part of a series of smaller works.
What does the 4-fold primed ground mean?
The canvas is 4-fold primed, which means that four layers of primer have been applied. This ensures excellent adhesion of your paint and prevents oil or acrylic from soaking into the cotton. The 100% cotton canvas with a weight of 330 g/m² offers a sturdy, durable base suitable for both oil and acrylic paint.
Practical tips for working with this stretched canvas
The 16 mm stretcher bar depth gives the stretched canvas sufficient rigidity to keep its shape while you paint. You can use this stretched canvas straight away without any extra preparation – just start painting. Store your finished work in a dry place and avoid direct sunlight to keep the colours at their best.

Dex knows - user tips
Stretch the canvas tightly over the supplied corner wedges, gently tapping them into the corners with a hammer before you start painting. If you begin with acrylic paint, let each layer dry completely before applying the next, otherwise the canvas may start to bulge.
