When do you need a stretched canvas?
A stretched canvas is essential for painters who work with paint that requires a stable surface. You need this product when you want to create paintings on a professional canvas that does not sag or ripple while you work. It offers a taut, flat surface that is suitable for detailed work.

Why choose this size?
The 180×240 mm size provides enough space for smaller paintings, studies or detail drawings without taking up too much working space. This dimension is ideal for beginners who want to practise their techniques or for experienced artists who create small-scale compositions. The compact size also makes it easy to store and transport.

Professional primed surface for versatile use
This canvas is 4-fold primed, meaning it has been given four coats of primer. This treatment ensures that the 100% cotton canvas is optimally suited for both oil and acrylic paint. The 330 g/m² cotton offers a sturdy structure that takes the paint well without soaking through to the back.

Practical details for the best result
The 16 mm stretcher bar depth gives the frame sufficient depth to keep the canvas taut. This prevents sagging while you paint and ensures a professional finish. The white surface allows the colours of your paint to come fully into their own without colour distortion from the ground.
