What is a POSCA pigment marker used for?
POSCA pigment markers are versatile paint markers for creative projects, decoration and professional applications. They contain opaque pigment paint that adheres well to almost all surfaces, such as paper, cardboard, glass, metal and plastic. You need these markers when you want to apply bright, opaque colours that do not bleed.

Why choose the 8.0 mm chisel tip?
The PC-8K variant has a broad chisel tip of 8.0 mm, allowing you to create both thick lines and thin strokes by tilting the marker. This tip width is ideal for filling larger areas, making broad accents or calligraphy-style lettering. The chisel shape gives you more control over line thickness than a round tip.

Bright yellow pigment paint
This yellow POSCA marker contains opaque pigment paint that remains clearly visible even on dark surfaces. The paint formula dries quickly and gives a matt finish without shine. Unlike ordinary felt-tip pens, you can also work over other colours with this pigment marker without the underlying colour showing through.

Practical usage tip
Always shake the marker well before use so that the pigments mix thoroughly. Test the tip on a scrap piece first before starting on your final work. The OEM reference PC-8K J helps you order exactly the same marker as a replacement.
