What does this marker do and when do you use it?

The POSCA PC-8K is a pigment marker used to apply bold, opaque colour to all kinds of surfaces. The neon turquoise shade ensures maximum visibility, making it suitable for projects where you want the colour to immediately catch the eye, such as hand lettering, art, decoration or marking materials.

Why this variant with a chisel tip?

The PC-8K features a chisel tip, which means you can create both broad areas and sharper lines with a single marker, depending on the angle at which you write or draw. With a line width of 8.0 mm, this size is especially suitable if you want to fill larger surfaces or create text and shapes that are easy to read from a distance. For finer details, a marker with a narrower tip is a better choice.

Honest about the neon colour

Neon turquoise is a distinctive colour that shows to its best advantage on dark or black surfaces, but the shade also produces a striking result on light materials. Please note that the intensity of neon colours can vary depending on the surface; on porous or rough materials, the colour may appear less even than on a smooth surface.

Practical tip: packaging and use

This marker is sold in packs of 6, which is handy if you work with this colour regularly or want to equip several users at once, for example in a classroom or workshop setting. POSCA markers are water-based, which means you can also remove them from non-absorbent surfaces such as glass or plastic, as long as the paint has not yet fully dried.
