When do you need an outdoor network cable?
An outdoor network cable is used when you need an internet connection between buildings or to devices outside. Think of connecting your house to an outbuilding, connecting security cameras in the garden, or creating a network connection to an office in the shed. This cable is specifically designed to withstand the challenges of outdoor use.

Why choose Cat. 6A
Cat. 6A offers a transmission frequency of up to 500 MHz and supports data speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s, so you're also future-proofed for upcoming network requirements. The double shielding (S/FTP) ensures that external interference has no effect on your network performance.

IP66 water resistance in practice
The IP66 rating means this cable is completely dust-tight and resistant to powerful jets of water from all directions. You can therefore safely use the cable in rain, snow and extreme weather conditions. In addition, the cable is oil-resistant, which is handy in industrial environments or garages where oil leaks may occur.

Practical installation tip
Please note that this cable is not suitable for direct underground installation without protection. Always use a cable duct or protective sleeve when you want to lay the cable underground. The gold-plated contacts of the RJ45 plugs ensure optimal connections that do not corrode, and the strain relief prevents damage to the plugs during use.
