When do you need an outdoor network cable?
This Cat. 6A network cable is specially developed for outdoor use where ordinary network cables fail. You use it when you need a stable internet connection between buildings, to outbuildings, garden sheds or other locations where the cable is exposed to the weather.

Why Cat. 6A with double shielding?
The S/FTP double shielding and 500 MHz bandwidth make this cable suitable for fast data transfer without interference from outside. This is essential for outdoor installations where electromagnetic interference from other devices or weather conditions can disrupt the connection. The copper material of the cores ensures optimal conductivity.

Resistant to all weather conditions
The IP66 rating means this cable is fully protected against water and dust. It is waterproof and oil-resistant, making it resistant to rain, snow and other liquids. The moulded plugs with gold-plated contacts and the 6.5 mm thick cable material provide extra protection against mechanical stress and corrosion.

Note when installing
Despite its robust construction, this cable is not suitable for direct underground installation without protection. Therefore, plan a route via gutters, conduit pipes, or attach the cable to facades and fences. The kink and strain relief prevents damage to the RJ45 connectors during connection.
