What does a pigment liner fineliner do?
A pigment liner is a technical pen used for precision work such as technical drawings, illustrations and architectural designs. The pigment ink ensures that your lines are permanent and do not fade due to light or moisture. This STAEDTLER variant with a 0.6 mm line width is ideal for medium-sized details and main lines in your drawings.

Why choose the 0.6 mm line width?
The 0.6 mm tip gives you a clearly visible line without becoming too thick for detailed work. This width falls into the medium-broad category and is perfect when you want to draw main outlines or write text that needs to be easy to read. For very fine details you would choose a thinner variant, but for general drawing work, 0.6 mm offers the right balance.

Long metal tip for professional use
The long metal tip is the major advantage of this fineliner. Thanks to the extra length, you can easily draw alongside rulers and templates without the pen deviating. The metal ensures that the tip retains its shape, even with prolonged use against hard surfaces. This feature makes the difference between hobby work and professional results.

Practical tip for tracing paper
A special feature of this pigment liner is that the ink can be erased on tracing paper. This means you can make corrections while tracing designs or when working on technical drawings on transparent material. The metal clip ensures you can securely attach the pen to your work clothes or notepad.
