What does this pencil do for your drawings?
The Faber-Castell PITT GRAPHITE Matt pencil has been specially developed for artistic and technical drawings where you need matt, dark lines. Thanks to the extremely matt finish of the graphite, you get drawings without disturbing reflections on the paper. This makes it ideal for detailed work where you want to see exactly what you are drawing, without light bouncing off your drawing surface.

Soft graphite application for expressive lines
The soft graphite application of this pencil gives you dark, rich lines that are perfect for shading, hatching and expressive drawings. The graphite releases easily onto paper, so with light pressure you already get a deep tone. This softness offers the ideal balance between control and darkness for artistic applications.

Matt finish for a professional result
What makes this pencil special is the extremely matt graphite finish, which reduces reflections on the paper. This allows you to better judge how dark your lines really are, without gloss getting in the way while you draw. The matt quality also ensures an even distribution of tone, which is important for realistic shadows and transitions.

Extra sturdy for intensive use
The pencil has a water-resistant varnish finish and is made extra break-resistant. This means the graphite core is less likely to break, even during intensive use or if you drop the pencil. The sturdy construction makes it suitable for long drawing sessions where you apply a lot of pressure.
