This Cat. 8.1 patch cable brings lightning-fast internet to your office. With 2000 MHz bandwidth you get the most out of your network, while the sturdy shielding prevents interference.
When do you choose this product?
What does this patch cable do?
A Cat. 8.1 patch cable is used to connect network equipment such as switches, routers and servers in professional environments. This cable is specially developed for applications that require extremely high data speeds and where traditional Cat. 6 or Cat. 7 cables fall short.
Why Cat. 8.1 rather than other categories?
Cat. 8.1 supports frequencies up to 2000 MHz, which is considerably higher than older cable categories. This makes the cable suitable for data centre environments and other professional installations where you need maximum performance. The F/FTP shielding (foil shielding around the entire cable bundle plus individual pair shielding) provides optimal protection against electromagnetic interference.
Reliable materials and construction
The cable uses AWG 26/7 copper conductors with a CuZnNi gold-plated connector for stable signal transmission. The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath material is halogen-free, which is important in spaces where fire safety plays a role. The PIMF construction (Pairs in Metal Foil) offers additional protection per wire pair.
Practical use of the 1.0 metre length
This compact 1.0 metre length is ideal for short connections in server cabinets, patch panels or between devices standing close together. It helps you avoid unnecessary cable length in tight spaces. Please note that both ends are fitted with standard RJ45 connectors (8P8C), making the cable compatible with all common network equipment.
