This fast Cat. 8.1 patch cable ensures stable network connections up to 2000 MHz. The high-quality shielding prevents interference, perfect for professional network environments.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a Cat. 8.1 patch cable?
A patch cable is used to establish network connections between devices such as computers, switches and routers. Cat. 8.1 cables are specifically designed for the highest network speeds and are mainly used in professional environments where maximum performance is required. This cable supports frequencies up to 2000 MHz, so you can also realise future-proof connections.
Why choose the short 0.5 metre length?
The short length of 0.5 metres makes this cable ideal for connections over short distances where you don't want any excess cable length. This is practical in server cabinets, between devices standing close together, or when you want to keep your workspace tidy. Short cables also ensure minimal signal loss and optimal performance.
F/FTP shielding for stable connections
This patch cable has F/FTP shielding, which means that both the individual wire pairs and the entire cable are shielded with aluminium foil. This PIMF system (Pairs In Metal Foil) protects against electromagnetic interference from other devices and ensures stable data transmission, even in environments with a lot of electronic equipment.
Practical features for professional use
The RJ45 connectors are made of CuZnNi and gold-plated, which ensures good conductivity and corrosion resistance. The LSZH cable sheath is halogen-free, which is important for safety in enclosed spaces. The red colour helps you organise your network infrastructure by colour-coding different functions.
