When do you need triangular coloured pencils?
These Faber-Castell pencils have been specially developed for users who draw or colour for long periods. The triangular shape provides a natural, relaxed grip, so your hand tires less quickly. Perfect for children learning to write and draw, but also for adults doing detailed creative work.

Why choose the triangular shape?
The triangular shape offers more control than round pencils because your fingers automatically fall into the right place. This prevents the pencil from rolling away during use and gives you more stability for fine details. The soft-grip zone enhances this effect by providing extra comfort where your fingers hold the pencil.

The benefit of water-soluble pencils
These pencils are water-soluble, which means you can spread the colour with a wet brush for watercolour effects. This gives you soft colour transitions and allows you to combine different techniques in a single artwork. The 3.0 mm lead delivers enough colour for both filling areas and detailed work.

Practical details for optimal use
At a length of 175 mm, these pencils sit comfortably in the hand without being too short or too long. The name field on each pencil helps prevent you from losing your materials, which is handy in classrooms or shared workspaces. Store the pencils dry to best preserve their water-soluble properties.
