What does this colouring pencil do?
This Faber-Castell colouring pencil in apple green is a water-soluble colouring pencil that you can use for dry drawing as well as for experimenting with watercolour effects. Going over your drawing with a wet brush creates interesting transitions. You use this type of pencil for creative projects where you want to combine different techniques.

Why choose the triangular shape?
The triangular shape offers a natural grip position that is less tiring than round pencils. This shape prevents the pencil from rolling off your desk and gives you more control while drawing. The soft-grip zone provides extra comfort and a firm grip, especially important during prolonged use or for children who are still developing their pencil grip.

Practical features of this size
With a length of 175 mm, you get a standard size that sits comfortably in the hand. The lead has a thickness of 3.0 mm, which produces broad, opaque strokes and makes the pencil suitable for both details and colouring larger areas. The name field on the pencil is handy for personalisation or for marking ownership in classrooms and workspaces.

Compatibility and use
This colouring pencil is water-soluble and works on various paper types. For watercolour effects, use a clean, damp brush. Always start with dry layers of colour and then gradually add water for interesting transitions. Store the pencil dry to preserve the quality of the lead.
