When should you use triangular coloured pencils?
Triangular coloured pencils have been specially developed for children who are learning to write and draw. The triangular shape automatically encourages the correct pencil grip and prevents cramping of the fingers. You choose this type of pencil when ergonomic comfort and a natural writing posture are important.

Why this triangular shape with soft grip?
The triangular shape of this Faber-Castell pencil ensures that your fingers naturally rest in the correct position. The soft-grip zone offers extra comfort and grip, so you can draw for longer without fatigue. This makes the pencil ideal for intensive use during drawing and colouring activities.

Water-soluble properties for versatile use
This pencil is water-soluble, which means you can blur or blend the colours with water to create watercolour effects. With a lead diameter of 3.0 mm, you get broad, opaque strokes of colour that are suitable for both detailed work and filling large areas. The thick lead is less likely to break than thin pencil points.

Practical details for everyday use
With a length of 175 mm, this pencil has a standard size that feels comfortable in the hand. The name field on the pencil is handy for personalisation, especially in classrooms or during group activities where pencils are often shared. You can write your name to avoid confusion.
