What does this colouring pencil do?
This Faber-Castell colouring pencil in chestnut brown is specially designed for young and old who seek comfort and versatility while drawing and colouring. The water-soluble pencil offers the option of applying both dry colour effects and watercolour-like painting techniques.

Why choose the triangular shape?
The triangular shape of this pencil ensures a natural and relaxed grip during use. This ergonomic design prevents fatigue in the hand and fingers, especially during long periods of colouring. The soft-grip zone further enhances this comfort by providing extra grip and control.

Water-soluble property for creative freedom
The water-soluble property makes this pencil particularly suitable for mixed-media projects. You can first colour dry and then go over the colour with a damp brush to create watercolour effects. The 3.0 mm core produces both fine lines and broad areas of colour, depending on your application technique.

Practical details for optimal use
The pencil measures 175 mm in length and features a name field where you can write your name – handy for use at school or in a group setting. For the best results with the watercolour technique, use watercolour paper or sturdy drawing paper that can withstand moisture. Keep the pencil dry to keep the tip in optimal condition.
