When do you need water-soluble colouring pencils?
Water-soluble colouring pencils are ideal when you want to draw and paint in one go. You can first colour as normal and then go over your drawing with a wet brush for watercolour effects. This makes them perfect for creative projects where you want to combine different techniques.

Why choose the triangular shape?
The triangular shape of this Faber-Castell pencil sits more naturally in your hand than round variants and prevents the pencil from rolling off your drawing table. Thanks to the ergonomic shape, you get more control over your lines and can work comfortably for longer without cramp in your fingers.

Benefits of the 3.0 mm lead
With a 3.0 mm lead, you get a good balance between precision and coverage. You can draw details as well as colour in larger areas without having to sharpen constantly. The lead is sturdy enough for intensive use but still fine enough for accurate work.

Practical tips for optimal use
This pencil measures 175 mm in length and has a soft-grip zone for extra comfort while drawing. There is also a name field on the pencil, handy for the classroom or studio. For the best watercolour effect, use a clean, damp brush and work from light to dark. Keep the pencil dry to keep the lead in good condition.
