What does this colour pencil do and when do you need it?

This Faber-Castell colour pencil has been specially developed for comfortable and precise colouring. Thanks to its water-soluble properties, you can create both dry colour effects and watercolour effects by adding water. It is ideal for art projects, technical drawing and educational purposes where precision and comfort are important.

Why the triangular shape is the right choice

The triangular shape provides a natural and relaxed pencil grip, so your hand tires less quickly during prolonged use. This shape prevents the pencil from rolling off your workspace and gives you more control over your lines. For people who draw or colour a lot, this is a practical improvement over round pencils.

The soft-grip zone for extra comfort

The soft-grip zone around the triangular shape offers extra comfort while drawing. This soft grip surface reduces pressure points on your fingers and ensures a stable grip, even during longer drawing sessions. The combination of the ergonomic shape and the grip zone makes this pencil suitable for both children and adults.

Practical details for optimal use

With a pencil length of 175 mm and a lead diameter of 3.0 mm, you have a pencil that is suitable for both broad areas of colour and detailed work. The name field on the pencil is handy for marking your materials, especially in classrooms or shared workspaces. For watercolour effects, simply add water with a brush over the coloured surfaces.
