This is why Dex likes this article
This pencil is ideal for artistic drawings and shading. The sturdy lead of approximately 2 mm does not break easily thanks to the special bonding, making it perfect for intensive use.
When do you choose this product?
Why choose the hexagonal shape?
The hexagonal shape of this CASTELL 9000 pencil prevents it from rolling off your drawing board or desk. This saves you frustration while working and ensures your pencil always stays within easy reach. The hexagonal profile also sits comfortably in your hand and offers more grip than round pencils.
What does the special bonding mean?
This Faber-Castell pencil has a special bonding that protects the graphite lead from breaking. The lead of approximately 2 mm therefore remains stable, even with intensive use or when you apply a bit more pressure while drawing. This feature makes the pencil more reliable than standard pencils.
Practical tips for use
The green lacquer on this pencil is applied using water-based lacquer technology, which ensures a durable finish. Sharpen your pencil regularly with a good pencil sharpener for optimal use. Store the pencil where the tip is protected, as graphite leads are sensitive to damage.
