When do you choose this product?

What does this product do?
Coloured foil card is intended for cutting, sticking and drawing work where you need firmness and an even colour. The 500 x 700 mm size gives you room to cut to size yourself, which is handy for larger craft projects, decorations or backgrounds. With 25 sheets per pack, you have enough material for several projects or a class or group activity.

Why this weight and this colour?
At 180 g/m², this card is thicker and sturdier than ordinary paper, so it stands up better to folding, cutting and gluing without tearing straight away. The pine green colour is coloured all the way through, which means you won't get white edges when cutting or tearing, as you would with surface-printed paper. This makes it suitable for pieces where the edges remain visible, such as layered work or cut-outs.

What does acid-free mean, and what about absorbency?
The card is acid-free, meaning it is less likely to yellow or become brittle over time, which is useful if you want to keep or display your work. Its absorbency ensures that paint, glue and ink are taken up well without the card becoming saturated straight away. This makes the card suitable for techniques involving wet materials, such as watercolour or vlo
