What does this product do?
Tonkarton is thick, coloured card that you use for craft work, folders, cards and decorative applications where you need a sturdy base. With a weight of 180 g/m², it is stiffer than ordinary paper, but still easy to cut, fold and glue. You choose this if you are looking for card that goes beyond printer paper, but is not as thick as board card.

Why this size and this colour?
This card comes in the size 500 x 700 mm, so you have plenty of material to cut to size yourself for various projects. The set contains 25 sheets in the colour light green, so you can draw on the same batch for multiple workpieces without any colour differences. This makes it suitable for schools, day nurseries or home use where you regularly need card in the same shade.

Coloured through and acid-free: what does that mean?
The card is coloured through, meaning the colour runs through the entire sheet and is not just on the surface. So if you cut the card, you will not see a white core as with single-sided printed paper. In addition, it is acid-free, which means it is less likely to discolour or become brittle during long-term storage, which is especially relevant for archiving or workpieces you want to keep.
