When do you choose this product?

What does this product do?

Tonkarton is sturdy coloured card that you use for craft work, mounting, invitations or other creative applications where you need more firmness than ordinary paper offers. The card is coloured throughout, which means the colour is not just on the surface but runs through the entire sheet. That is handy when you cut, punch or tear the edges, because the cut edge stays the same colour as the surface.

Why this size and this packaging?

This pack contains 25 sheets measuring 500 x 700 mm, a large format that lets you decide for yourself how to cut the card for your project. This way you can get several smaller pieces out of a single sheet, which is useful for classroom use or for projects where you need non-standard sizes. The quantity of 25 sheets in the colour ochre is sufficient for a series of loose pieces without having to buy a large pack straight away.

What can you expect in terms of quality and finish?

The card has a weight of 180 g/m², which makes it suitable for applications where you need slightly more load-bearing strength than with standard drawing paper. The high-quality feel and ink-absorbing properties that folia mentions suggest that the card feels pleasant and takes up ink or paint well, which is relevant if you work with pens, watercolour or glue.
