What does this product do?
This canvas provides a professional surface for painting with various techniques such as acrylic, oil paint or tempera. The canvas is already primed and stretched, so you can start your artwork straight away without having to prepare a canvas yourself.
Solid construction with 100% cotton
The canvas is made of 100% cotton weighing 380 grams per square metre and has been primed three times with gesso. This preparation ensures that paint adheres well and does not soak into the canvas. The canvas is stretched and mounted on a 16 mm stretcher frame, which offers sufficient sturdiness for normal painting techniques.
Practical accessories included
Each canvas comes with pine wooden wedges. You can use these to tighten the canvas if it becomes slightly looser over time due to changes in temperature or humidity. The pack contains 4 pieces, which is good value if you are planning multiple works or for students who regularly need new canvases.
