High-quality canvas on a sturdy wooden frame for all your creative projects. The 100% cotton fabric with gesso primer is ready to use straight away with paint or other materials.
When do you choose this product?
What does this product do?
A stretcher frame is an art canvas stretched over a wooden frame, specially made for painting with paint. You use this when you want to paint with acrylic paint, oil paint or other painting techniques and need a professional, stable surface. The canvas is already primed and ready to use.
Why choose this product?
The stretcher frame offers a compact solution for smaller artworks, studies and experiments. This size fits well on a desk or easel and is handy for practising techniques or making gifts.
Professional-grade quality
This canvas is made of 100% cotton weighing 380 grams per square metre, which provides a sturdy and durable surface. The canvas has been primed three times with gesso, a white ground layer that ensures paint adheres well and colours stay vibrant. The 16 mm thick wooden frame gives the canvas strength and prevents sagging.
Practical benefits
The canvas is already stretched and attached to the frame, so you can start painting straight away. On delivery you also receive pine wooden wedges, with which you can tighten the canvas later if it becomes a little looser during painting. This ensures your canvas always stays taut and flat for optimal painting results.
