What does this canvas do?
A canvas is your starting point for every painting. The stretched canvas on a wooden frame gives you a stable, flat surface you can start painting on straight away. You no longer need to prepare the canvas, because it already has a gesso primer that takes paint well.

Why choose this size?
This compact size is easy to handle and takes up little space on your easel or worktable. You get 4 canvases at once, ideal for trying out several compositions or creating a series.

Sturdy construction with keilrahmen
The canvas is stretched over a 16 mm pine stretcher frame and stapled in place for a taut finish. The included wooden wedges can be placed in the corners to tighten the canvas further if it becomes slack due to moisture or use. The 100% cotton canvas weighs 380 grams per square metre, giving a firm feel under your brush.

Ready to use straight away
Thanks to the 3-layer gesso primer, you can get started immediately with acrylic paint, oil paint or other painting techniques. The white ground gives your colours more brightness than an untreated canvas. Store unused canvases dry and flat to prevent warping.
