What is this canvas stretcher and when do you need it?
A canvas stretcher is a prepared painting canvas stretched over a wooden frame, ready for use. You choose this KREUL canvas stretcher when you want to paint with oil paint, acrylic paint or apply the serviette technique. The canvas has already been primed four times, so you can start painting straight away without any pre-treatment.

Why this 300 × 600 mm format is the right choice
This oblong 300 × 600 mm format is ideal for panoramic compositions, landscapes or portraits where you want to make use of the width. The rectangular shape gives you more compositional options than a square canvas and is large enough for detailed work, yet still easy to handle on a standard easel or worktable.

Properties of the 100% cotton canvas
The canvas is made of 100% cotton with a weight of 380 g/m², which provides a stable surface that absorbs paint well. The frame has a depth of 17 mm. The cotton has a natural texture suitable for various painting techniques.

Practical details for use
The staples are fixed only to the back of the frame, so the sides remain smooth and you can also paint over the edges for a modern effect. The canvas is suitable for both oil and acrylic paint; with oil paint, you should allow for longer drying times. Store unused canvas stretchers flat and dry to prevent warping.
