What is a keilrahmen and when do you need one?
A keilrahmen is a stretched canvas on a wooden frame, essential for painters who work with paint on canvas. You need this product when you want to paint with oil paint, acrylic paint or apply the serviette technique. It provides a stable surface that maintains the correct tension while you paint.

Why choose this 24×30 cm size?
This compact size of 24×30 cm is ideal for smaller artworks, studies or when you have limited workspace. It is large enough for detailed work, yet easy to handle for transport and storage. This size suits beginning painters well, who want to practise their techniques without making large investments straight away.

Benefits of the 4-fold primed cotton surface
The canvas is made of 100% cotton with a weight of 380 grams per square metre and is primed four times. This primer layer ensures that your paint adheres well and does not soak into the canvas. The cotton offers a natural texture that many artists value for the way paint responds to it.

Practical details for optimal use
The 17 mm stretcher bar depth gives the frame sufficient sturdiness, while the staples are placed only on the back for a neat finish on the front. This means you can hang the work without unsightly staples being visible. The canvas is suitable for both oil and acrylic paint, offering flexibility in your artistic technique.
