What does this product do?
A stretched canvas is a ready-made canvas that you can use straight away for painting. This KREUL model is already stretched over a frame, so you can get started immediately without having to stretch canvas yourself.

Why choose this product?
The canvas provides a practical base when you are experimenting with new techniques, making colour studies or working on small-scale compositions. Thanks to its compact format, it is suitable for detailed work where you want to retain full control over your brush.

Professional preparation for an immediate start
This canvas is 4-fold primed, which means the canvas has already received several layers of gesso. This primer ensures that paint does not soak into the fibres but sits nicely on top. The 100% cotton canvas, with a weight of 380 g/m², offers a sturdy surface that is suitable for both oil and acrylic paint.

Practical details for use
The staples are only on the back of the frame, so the sides stay neat and you can hang the finished work without a frame if you wish. The frame depth of 17 mm gives the canvas sufficient tension and stability. This stretched canvas also works excellently for decoupage, where you can apply decorative napkins to the canvas.
