When do you need a keilrahmen?
A keilrahmen is a stretched canvas on a wooden frame that you use as a painting surface. You need one when you want to paint with oil paint, acrylic paint, or when you apply the serviette technique. This product gives you a ready-to-use painting surface without having to stretch the canvas yourself.

Why choose this 700×1000 mm format?
This large format gives you plenty of space for extensive artworks and detailed compositions. With these dimensions you can use both landscape and portrait orientation, offering flexibility for different subjects. It is ideal when you are working on larger projects or when you want to include a lot of detail in your painting.

The benefits of 4× primed 100% cotton
The canvas is made of 100% cotton weighing 380 g/m² and is primed 4 times. This priming layer ensures the paint does not soak into the weave but sits beautifully on the surface. As a result, you get brighter colours and can mix and work the paint more easily while painting.

Practical details for use
The frame has a depth of 17 mm and the canvas is stapled only at the back, so the sides stay taut and smooth. This means you can also paint over the edges for a modern look without disruptive staples. The canvas is suitable for oil and acrylic paint, so you can choose which technique best suits your project.
