When do you need a stretched canvas?
A stretched canvas is essential for painters who want to work with oil or acrylic paint on a professional canvas. This type of artist's canvas is already prepared and stretched, so you can start painting straight away without having to mount or prime a canvas yourself.

Why choose this 50×70 cm size?
This medium size of 50×70 cm offers enough space for portraits, landscapes and still lifes without taking up too much room in your studio. The dimensions are ideal for both beginner and advanced artists working on paintings of modest to average size.

What makes the 38 mm depth special?
The 38 mm deep frame provides a firm and stable painting surface that does not sag while you work. The 380 g/m² cotton is primed four times, which means the canvas is optimally prepared for paint and offers good adhesion. The staples are placed on the back only, so the sides stay neat for when you want to frame the work.

Suitable for different techniques
This canvas is specifically designed for oil and acrylic paintings, but also for serviette technique. The primer ensures that the paint adheres well and does not sink into the weave. Thanks to the stable construction, you can also work with more vigorous brushstrokes without damaging the canvas.
