When should you choose a stretched canvas?
A stretched canvas is essential when you want to paint with oil paint, acrylic paint or when you use the napkin technique. This KREUL stretched canvas gives you a ready-made painting surface that you can use straight away. It saves you the time and effort of stretching the canvas yourself, so you can start on your artwork right away.

Why this 40×40 cm size?
This square format of 40×40 cm is ideal for small to medium-sized paintings, studies and experimental projects. The compact size makes it suitable for both beginning artists and experienced painters working on detailed studies. The square format offers interesting compositional possibilities for portraits, landscapes and abstract works.

Benefits of the 4-fold primer
The canvas has been primed four times, which ensures optimal paint absorption and colour retention. This primer prevents paint from sinking into the canvas and gives you more control over your painting technique. The 100% cotton canvas of 380 g/m² provides a stable and durable surface suitable for a variety of painting techniques.

Practical details for use
The 38 mm strainer bar gives the frame sufficient rigidity for painting without sagging. The canvas is stapled to the back only, which ensures taut corners and a professional finish on the front. You can use this stretched canvas straight away for oil and acrylic paintings, but also for decorative techniques such as the napkin technique.
