This is why Dex likes this article
With this 3H grade you draw precise lines that are easy to erase. The extra strong lead is unlikely to break, perfect for technical work and detailed drawings.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a 3H pencil?
A 3H pencil is used when you want to draw very fine, light lines that can easily be erased again. This degree of hardness is ideal for technical drawings, architectural sketches and for creating guide lines in precision work. Thanks to the hard graphite lead, the pencil leaves hardly any marks on the paper.
Why choose the hexagonal shape?
The hexagonal shape of this STAEDTLER pencil ensures that it doesn't roll off your drawing board or desk. This gives you more control while drawing and prevents you from constantly having to pick up your pencil. The shape also sits comfortably in your hand during prolonged use.
What makes the lead particularly strong?
This Mars Lumograph pencil has a glue-bonded lead that is especially break-resistant. The 2.0 mm thick graphite lead breaks less easily than with ordinary pencils, even when you apply a lot of pressure. This means fewer interruptions to your work and a longer lifespan for your pencil.
Recognisable by its blue lacquer coating
The blue lacquer coating is not only decorative, but also helps you quickly recognise this particular pencil among other drawing materials. The OEM number 100-3H stands for the original STAEDTLER reference, handy if you want to reorder exactly the same type of pencil for consistency in your drawing work.
