When do you use a professional drawing pencil?
The STAEDTLER Mars Lumograph pencil has been specially developed for technical drawing, design and detailed work where precision is essential. Choose this pencil when you want to draw hard, light lines that can easily be erased without taking paper fibres with them.

Why hardness grade H is the right choice
The H grade produces light, accurate lines that are ideal for construction lines, grid work and preliminary sketches. This grade wears down more slowly than soft pencils, so you can keep working with a sharp point for longer. It is perfect for work where you later draw over your lines with ink or markers.

Hexagonal shape for optimal control
The hexagonal shape prevents the pencil from rolling off your drawing table and provides a stable grip during extended use. Your fingers automatically find a comfortable position, which benefits the precision of your lines. The blue lacquered surface gives the pencil a professional look and protects the wood.

Durable construction with hard-bonded lead
The 2.0 mm lead is hard-bonded, which means it is extra resistant to breakage. This prevents annoying breakages during work, especially when drawing long, straight lines or when applying pressure to the pencil. This technical feature makes the pencil suitable for intensive use in professional environments such as architectural firms and technical drawing studios.
