What does this product do?
This triangular colouring pencil from Faber-Castell is specially designed for drawing and colouring where you want to apply watercolour techniques. The chocolate-brown pencil has a water-soluble lead, which means that after colouring you can go over the colour with a wet brush to create beautiful watercolour effects.

Why the triangular shape is ideal
The triangular shape provides a natural and comfortable grip between your fingers. This prevents the pencil from rolling off your work surface and reduces fatigue during prolonged use. The shape also encourages the correct pencil grip, which is especially useful for children learning to draw.

Comfort thanks to the Soft-Grip Zone
The integrated Soft-Grip Zone provides extra grip and comfort during use. This soft zone prevents your fingers from slipping, even during intensive colouring. The 3.0 mm thick lead delivers strong colour output and is sturdy enough for various drawing techniques without breaking easily.

Practical details for everyday use
At a length of 175 mm, this pencil has a comfortable size for both children and adults. The name field on the pencil allows you to personalise or label it, which is handy in classrooms or shared workspaces. For the most beautiful watercolour effects, use a lightly dampened brush after colouring to let the colours flow.
