When do you need a water-soluble colouring pencil?
Water-soluble colouring pencils are ideal when you want to combine dry and wet techniques in your drawings. You can first colour normally and then go over the colour with a wet brush to create watercolour effects. This makes them perfect for artistic projects, illustrations and creative assignments where you want to create different textures and effects.

Why choose the triangular shape?
The triangular shape of this Faber-Castell pencil sits more naturally in your hand than round pencils and prevents the pencil from rolling off your desk. Thanks to the special shape, you automatically get a better grip and more control while drawing. This is especially useful for long drawing sessions or when you need to work out a lot of detail.

Benefits of the Soft-Grip Zone
This pencil has a Soft-Grip Zone that provides extra comfort during use. Your fingers get more purchase and your hand tires less quickly, even during extended drawing. The soft grip zone makes this pencil suitable for both quick colouring jobs and extensive artistic projects.

Practical details for everyday use
With a length of 175 mm, this pencil is a handy size for both children and adults. The name field on the pencil is useful for writing your name or initials on it, so you won't lose it in a shared drawing space. The 3.0 mm lead gives a nice line width that is suitable for both colouring in larger areas and drawing details.
