What does this product do?
A keilrahmen is a ready-made painting canvas stretched over a wooden frame, specially made for artists who want to start painting straight away. You need this when you want to paint with oil, acrylic or even apply the napkin technique without having to stretch a canvas yourself.

Why this size of 180×240 mm?
This compact size is ideal for smaller artworks, studies or when you want to try out a new technique without wasting much material. The 180×240 mm size fits easily on your worktable and is handy for portraits, still lifes or detail studies where you want to practise precision.

Why 100% cotton with 380 g/m²?
The cotton canvas of 380 g/m² provides a sturdy surface that doesn't sag while you paint. Thanks to the 4-fold primer, the canvas is ready to use and absorbs your paint in the right way. The cotton gives a natural texture that is suitable for both oil and acrylic paint.

Practical construction details
The 17 mm deep stretcher bars provide sufficient stability, while the staples are placed only on the back. This means your sides stay neat and you can easily frame the artwork later. The combination of these features makes this keilrahmen suitable for various painting techniques without you having to make any adjustments.
