What is this stretched canvas for?
A stretched canvas is a ready-to-use surface for painters who want to get started straight away. This KREUL SOLO Goya canvas is already stretched over a frame and primed, so you can start painting immediately without any preparatory work. The canvas is suitable for various painting techniques and provides a professional base for your artwork.

Why choose this 40×60 cm size?
The 40×60 cm size offers enough space for detailed work without the canvas becoming too large for beginning painters or smaller workspaces. This size is ideal for portraits, landscapes or still lifes where you can develop both details and composition well. The canvas also fits easily on a standard painting easel.

What does the 4-fold primed cotton structure mean?
The canvas is made of 100% cotton weighing 380 grams per square metre, which ensures a sturdy and durable surface. The 4-fold priming means that four layers of primer have been applied, so the canvas is optimally prepared and the paint adheres well. The cotton gives a natural texture that many painters value for its authentic appearance.

Practical details for use
This stretched canvas has a bar depth of 17 mm and is only painted on the back, so the sides remain smooth. You can use the canvas for oil paint, acrylic paint and even for serviette technique. Thanks to the taut stretching and professional finish, the canvas stays nicely taut throughout the painting process without sagging.
