What does this printer ribbon do?
A printer ribbon is essential for dot matrix printers to print text and images. This nylon ribbon produces crisp black prints by transferring ink when the print head strikes through it. You need this type of ribbon when you regularly print documents, invoices or labels with a dot matrix printer.

Why this specific Kores ribbon?
This ribbon belongs to Gruppe 678 and is specially developed for a wide range of dot matrix printers. The nylon material offers a good balance between durability and print quality, so you can print for longer before replacement is needed. The black colour delivers sharp, easily legible text suitable for business documents.

Extensive compatibility with classic printers
The greatest strength of this ribbon lies in its compatibility with dozens of printer models from various brands. It works with Seikosha printers such as the SP800, SP1000 and SP2000 series, but also with Amstrad, Epson, Philips, Schneider and many other brands. This versatility makes it a practical choice if you use several older printers.

Practical installation tip
Before purchasing, check whether your printer model is listed in the extensive compatibility list. Pay particular attention to the exact model number of your Seikosha printer, as there can be small differences between variants. The OEM reference G678NYS helps you make sure you are ordering the right ribbon for optimal performance.
