When do you need a new printer ribbon?
A ribbon for your dot matrix printer needs replacing as soon as the prints become lighter or start printing unevenly. This Kores ribbon is specially designed for dot matrix printers that produce continuous, reliable prints of carbon copy forms, labels and multi-part documents.

Why this specific ribbon for your printer?
This nylon ribbon is compatible with the Epson FX2170, LQ2070, LQ2080, LQ2170 and LQ2180 printer models. The nylon material ensures sharp, clear prints and has a longer lifespan than standard fabric ribbons, so you need to replace it less often.

Reliable quality from Kores
Kores manufactures this ribbon as an alternative to the original Epson ribbon, giving you the same print quality at a more affordable price. The black nylon ribbon delivers consistent ink transfer and does not damage your print head, which is essential for the long life of your dot matrix printer.

Practical installation tip
Before ordering, check that your printer model matches the compatible types: FX2170, LQ2070, LQ2080, LQ2170 or LQ2180. The reference number R011NYS helps you make sure you order the right ribbon. Do not keep old ribbon cassettes for too long, as dried-up ink can affect print quality.
