When do you need a replacement ink ribbon?
This nylon ink ribbon is essential when your dot matrix printer produces weak or incomplete prints. Dot matrix printers such as the Fujitsu DL series use ink ribbons to print characters on paper by means of small needles. Without a working ink ribbon, you won't get legible documents.

Checking compatibility with your printer
This Kores ink ribbon works specifically with Fujitsu DL100, DL700, DL900, DL1000, DL1100, DL1150, DL1200 and DL1250 models. Also suitable for Escom Powerprint SM650 and Philips SBC7634 printers. The ribbon falls under Gruppe 659, which means it is compatible with all printers that use this group classification.

Why choose nylon material?
Nylon ink ribbons offer a good balance between print quality and service life. The nylon fabric holds the ink evenly and produces consistent black prints. This material withstands the mechanical stress of the print needles and ensures clearly legible text and figures on carbon-copy forms.

Practical installation tip
Always check the reference number G659NYS on your current ink ribbon or in the printer manual before installing. Replace the ribbon when prints become lighter, even if there still seems to be ink on it. A worn ribbon can damage the print head. Store spare ink ribbons in a dry, cool place to prevent them from drying out.
