This round watercolour brush with a fine point gives you precision in every brushstroke. The seamless brass ferrule provides sturdiness, while the short, glossy handle sits comfortably in the hand during long painting sessions.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a round watercolour brush?
A round watercolour brush is indispensable for watercolour techniques where you want to paint both fine details and broader areas. You use this type of brush for applying washes, making dots and lines, and for techniques such as wet-on-wet painting. Size 22 is a medium variant that is versatile in use.
Why choose synthetic fibres?
This brush has golden synthetic fibres that are specially developed for watercolour work. Synthetic fibres retain their shape better than natural hair and are less susceptible to damage from water and pigments. They offer a good balance between water absorption and control over the paint.
What makes the very fine point special?
The round shape with a very fine point allows you to create both broad strokes and extremely detailed lines with the same brush. This feature makes the brush suitable for botanical illustrations, portraits and other work where precision is important. The point holds its shape well while painting.
Pay attention to the quality of the ferrule
The brush has a round, seamlessly nickel-plated brass ferrule that holds the fibres firmly in place. This construction prevents fibres from coming loose during use. The short, glossy-lacquered handle gives you good control over your brushstrokes and sits comfortably in the hand for detail work.
