High-quality watercolour brush with synthetic fibres that take up and release water perfectly. The fine point delivers precise details, while the sturdy brass ferrule will last for years.
When do you choose this product?
When do you use a round watercolour brush?
A round watercolour brush is the most versatile brush for watercolour techniques. You use this type of brush for applying washes, creating lines and details, and for various wet-in-wet techniques. The round shape with a very fine tip makes it suitable for both broad strokes and precise detail work.
Why choose size 9?
Size 9 is a medium-sized brush that perfectly balances detail work and filling areas. With this size you can draw fine lines as well as efficiently colour in small to medium-sized areas. It is a practical choice for watercolourists who don't want to constantly switch brushes while they work.
Advantages of gold-coloured synthetic fibres
The gold-coloured synthetic fibres offer excellent water absorption and deliver paint evenly. Synthetic fibres retain their shape better than natural hair and are more durable with regular use. The very fine tip stays sharp for longer, which is important for precise lines and details in your watercolour paintings.
Practical details for optimal use
The round, seamlessly nickel-plated brass ferrule ensures the fibres sit firmly and prevents water from seeping between the ferrule and handle. The short, glossy-lacquered handle gives you good control during detail work. Always rinse the brush thoroughly after use and reshape the tip before letting it dry, so that the fine point is preserved.
