This round watercolour brush with a fine point gives you precise control over every brushstroke. The synthetic bristles hold their shape perfectly and the seamless brass ferrule ensures durable use.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a round watercolour brush?
This watercolour brush is indispensable for watercolour and aquarelle techniques where you are looking for precision and versatility. Its round shape with a very fine tip makes it possible to paint both fine details and broader areas. You use this type of brush for applying washes, making lines and working on smaller artworks.
Why choose size 12?
Size 12 offers the ideal balance between detailed work and surface coverage. This medium-sized brush holds enough paint for longer brushstrokes, yet remains compact enough for controlled work. The very fine tip ensures you can also work out smaller details without having to switch brushes.
The benefits of gold-coloured synthetic fibres
The gold-coloured synthetic fibres of this Van Gogh brush combine durability with good paint retention. Synthetic hairs keep their shape better than natural alternatives and are easier to clean. They work excellently with watercolour because they hold the right amount of moisture without absorbing too much water.
Practical details for long-lasting use
The round, seamlessly nickel-plated brass ferrule prevents the hairs from coming loose and ensures a firm connection. The short, gloss-lacquered handle gives you optimal control while painting. Always rinse the brush thoroughly with clean water after use and let it dry flat to preserve the lifespan of the synthetic fibres.
