This Van Gogh watercolour brush delivers beautiful results thanks to its fine point and high-quality synthetic fibres. Perfect for detailed work and colour transitions in your watercolour paintings.
When do you choose this product?
When do you use a watercolour brush?
A watercolour brush is indispensable for working with watercolour paint, where you can create different effects by varying the amount of water added. This brush is specially designed for wet techniques and lets you draw precise lines, but also fill areas thanks to the versatility of the round shape.
Why choose size 6?
Size 6 is a medium-sized brush that is ideally suited to detailed work as well as filling smaller areas. With this size you have sufficient control for fine lines thanks to the very fine tip, while you can also work more broadly by applying more pressure to the brush.
Benefits of gold-coloured synthetic fibres
The gold-coloured synthetic fibres of this brush offer a good balance between water absorption and control. Synthetic hairs are more durable than natural hairs and hold their shape better, so the very fine tip stays sharp for longer. This makes the brush suitable for both beginners and advanced users.
Practical details for long-term use
The brush has a round, seamless nickel-plated brass ferrule that holds the hair firmly and prevents water from getting between the ferrule and handle. The short, glossy-lacquered handle gives you good control while painting. Always store the brush horizontally or hang it with the tip pointing downwards to preserve the shape of the very fine tip.
