High-quality watercolour brush with synthetic fibres that hold water perfectly. The fine point gives you precise control for detailed work and colour gradations.
When do you choose this product?
What does this watercolour brush do?
Watercolour brushes are essential for working with watercolour paint, where you dilute the paint with water to create transparent effects. This round brush from Royal Talens is specially designed for watercolour techniques, where the shape and hair type are crucial to the result. You need this type of brush when you want to paint in watercolour or apply other water-based painting techniques.
Why size 7 is the right choice
Size 7 gives you a medium-sized brush that is versatile for various watercolour techniques. With this size you can work on both details and somewhat larger areas, without being too small or too large. It is a practical middle size, suitable for beginner and advanced watercolourists who are looking for a reliable working brush.
The strength of gold-coloured synthetic hairs
This brush has gold-coloured synthetic hairs that form a very fine point. Synthetic hairs are more durable than natural hairs and retain their shape better after use. The fine point allows you to make precise lines and details, while the round shape ensures good water absorption and release during painting.
Practical details for everyday use
The brush has a round, seamlessly nickel-plated brass ferrule (the metal band) that holds the hair firmly in place. The short, glossy lacquered handle gives you good control while working. This construction ensures that the brush lasts a long time and keeps its shape. Always clean the brush thoroughly with lukewarm water after use to extend its lifespan.
